The Southmarket Shopping Center has 550,000 s.f. with anchors of Wal-Mart, Lowes, Beauty Brands, Applebees, McDonalds, Chipolte, Starbucks, Coldstone Creamery, and a host of other restaurants and shops. Developed in 2004, the center opened up a new retail corridor in Kansas City that saw an additional 1,500,000 s.f. of other retail centers opening nearby.
